Everything you need to know about the Olympic Torch Relay at Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey

On 31 May, the abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel will welcome the Olympic Flame of Paris 2024! A rich programme of events awaits you for the occasion, with special access arrangements and times.

Essential information to help you prepare for your visit

On Friday 31 May, Mont-Saint-Michel will welcome the arrival of the Flame of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, after the Château d'If on 8 May, the Cité de Carcassonne on 16 May and the Pey-Berland Tower in Bordeaux on 23 May. To find out more

On 31 May, during this event, access to the abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel will be slightly modified. The doors of the monument will open from 9am to 3pm, then from 8pm to 11.30pm.

Events not to be missed

After a day of dance with choreographer Marion Motin and the Collectif Les Autres on 16 April 2024, there's another not-to-be-missed event on 31 May to celebrate the passing of the Olympic Flame... On this day, come and enjoy a variety of shows including dance, circus and acrobatics put on by the Compagnie Hors Surface, a project that has been awarded the Cultural Olympiad label by Paris 2024.
