Practical information
Individual visit:
Come to the monument during opening hours - subject to availability
Group visits :
Before the visit:
- We strongly recommend that you book an audioguide to ensure that the equipment is available.
- For the visit: it is compulsory to book a visit time in advance for all adult groups of 20 people or more and for all groups of young people under the age of 25, with no minimum number of people. Please contact the monument's reservations department and return the reservation request form.
- Free admission for 1 accompanying adult for 20 paying visitors or more, with a limit of 1 per group. Free admission for drivers accompanying groups on presentation of their professional card.
- Groups not permitted during the European Heritage Days
Arrival of groups at the abbey:
- Please respect the time slot allocated to you when booking. Any delay will result in the loss of your priority access and entry will be subject to availability.
- If payment is made on site on the day of the visit: the group waits outside the monument while the accompanying adult goes to the ticket office with the booking confirmation and pays the entrance fee. The accompanying adult then joins the group to go through the ticket control point and enter the monument. To ensure a smooth and rapid check, tickets must be distributed to each participant.
- If the group has tickets purchased in advance: the whole group goes to the ticket control point via the dedicated access queue. The guide presents the booking confirmation and then each participant presents their ticket.
How to get to the abbey :
- Pay car parks 2.5km away. Free shuttle service
- Allow at least 1 hour between the car parks and the abbey.
