Evening openings at Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey
Every summer, Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey is lit up, inviting visitors to lose themselves in a world of wonder! In 2026, it will reinvent itself once again with an original production, ‘COLORAMA’, in which colour is the central theme of this night-time experience presented by Spectaculaires – Allumeurs d’images.
A sensory experience bringing together heritage, contemporary art and visual innovation
Come and explore the many dimensions of colour, interact with it and gain a fresh perspective on the architectural treasures of Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey. This experience resonates particularly well in this unique setting, whose appearance is constantly shifting between the bluish hues of the spring tides, the mineral tones of the bay and the flamboyant colours of twilight. Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey offers a privileged setting for expression, where the visitor’s gaze, gestures and imagination are engaged in turn.
Through this unique interactive exhibition, the ‘Nocturnes’ invite the public, within an exceptional heritage setting, to observe, experience and feel colour in all its forms, particularly through the imaginative installations created by artists such as Anne-Lise King, Adrien Mondot, Hello I’m Flo, the Collectif Coin and Stevie Thompson.
