Presentation
Explore a dreamlike world of light, flavours and scents through a giant animated book! This lyrical pop-up, aimed at a family audience, mirrors Impressionist painting and French melodies from the late 19th/early 20th century. Colours, tastes and timbres mingle and evolve in concert with the seasons, encounters and Monet's work. In this musical tale, the duo revisit the fantasies of Satie, the lyricism of Fauré and the delicacy of Debussy in their own way... With a pocket set under their arm and a piano with straps on their back, the two musicians are ready to help children and their families discover these strange animals and other magical flowers.
This lyrical pop-up was created under the artistic direction of opera singer Harmonie Deschamps, with musical arrangements by accordionist Pierre Cussac and set designer, illustrator and scientist Damien Schoëvaërt-Brossault.
The Lilanoor Ensemble
In 2021, opera singer Harmonie Deschamps founded the ensemble Lilanoor to express her multiple musical affinities, her taste for atypical and daring projects, her passion for travel and her desire to break down barriers between the classical arts. These values are shared by all the artists involved in Lilanoor's projects, who come from the classical world but specialise in exploring other musical traditions. Each member of this team is unique and irreplaceable. Lilanoor explores the convergences between different musical genres, cultures and artistic disciplines through unusual pocket ensembles in France and India.
The ensemble reappropriates a variety of repertoires - from baroque to opera, via Lied and Mélodie - and offers original arrangements based on two major artistic themes: the dialogue between Western music and Indian music, and the meeting of classical and operatic music with traditional music and popular song.
