Preparing your visit

Discover all the practical information you need to know to prepare your visit to the abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel with your students.

Reservation procedure

Payment must be made on site (except for the CMN "exchange voucher" agreement)
* Cash (in euros - no denomination greater than twice the amount due), credit card or cheque made out to the "régisseur des recettes du
droit d'entrée", (with the bearer's ID, even if different from the name on the cheque.)
* Original administrative voucher for kindergarten and elementary schools, universities, and local authorities.
No order form will be accepted for colleges and high schools.
* Invoice on request at the cash desk on the day. No invoice will be issued after the visit.

Free admission and reduced rates
- One free accompanying person will be given for every 15 students for school groups in Cycle 1.
- One free accompanying person will be given for every 15 students for school groups in Cycles 2, 3, 4 and Lycée.
- Free admission will be granted to tour guides and bus drivers, upon presentation of their professional card.
- REP discount (please specify at the time of booking) - upon presentation of a certificate.
- Additional accompanying persons for school groups: entrance fee of 9€/pers, - Free admission upon presentation of the EDUCATION PASS.

In case of delay
If your group is late, the duration of your visit will be shortened accordingly.
After 45 minutes, the guide is no longer required to wait for you. Your visit becomes free and the amount of the package will be due.

Access during the tides
During periods of high tidal coefficients, access to Mont-Saint-Michel, and therefore to the abbey, will only be closed for 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening, at different times.
It is up to you to take this parameter into account when planning your visit to Mont-Saint-Michel. The abbey will not alert you about this. Tide information
